Commonplace July 1, 2014

Life is lived easiest if you live for other people.
Chores become gifts, it's a matter of perspective.

I occasionally get addicted to gaming, it's not a promiscuous affiliation.
I get addicted to multiplayers specifically, especially multiplayers I become good at.
Solos, and being alone just don't do it for me.
Even in my second life, I love to live for other people.
Joy comes in helping others the way I want to help them...

I wash dishes not because they're time with my hands in warm water
Peaceful and calming, it's not meditative
It's for my mother.
I wash dishes not because if I don't do it someone else, my mother, will have to
But because I want to,
It's for my mother.

A large portion of my day should be dedicated to studying,
but I often find it hard to, what is motivation I often find myself asking.
It's certainly not for the picture of me in a cubicle taking and acing my exam.
It's not because my back is against the wall and without the ticket, this exam embodies, I cannot reach my future.
It's not because of you and it's not because of me.
It's not to impress you as that would be, for me.
It's not anger at myself, or the world that drives me.
It's not for a general future that seems less and less tangible with every iteration.
What is it then, why am I supposed to be studying.

Life is lived easiest if you live for other people.
